I'm just about 2 buy a Mk8 but wanna make a few changes as standard it looks to high for my liking and the standard wheel choice is pretty poor.

Has anyone ever (with spacers), is it even possible to fit Scirocco Interlargos 18s with a reasonably low profile tyre to a mk8?

What is the best size tyre to fit to a 17 (maybe and 18 if the Inters will go on) once its lowered around 35-40mm so the wheel/tyre fills the arch.

Want to do something a little different without going all out or making it undriveable
