All in the comfort of my front room lol :p

WIll get head washed and them fit new stem seals and build back up :)

Yeah bore is 76.5mm, I've done the math and got the gaps wrote down somewhere..

Once bottom ends build i shall paint block and can bolt it all together again :p.

Rite time for a long needed update !!!

First off

Borrowed a engine stand of a mate to make life alot easier !!..

Couldnt get hold of another AFH block in time so i used my original one with a few score marks but has been honed, Just hope its ok and a few other people seem to feel it will be fine .

Got the pistons cleaned up and dropped new rings on them and checked the gaps

Checked the new thrust washers, big end bearings and main bearings for fitment and fitted the crank and pistons.

Took the head whats been stripped down to get a skim and a quick wash but wish it was longer lol :(

Built it back up with new stem seals and lapped valves

New HG, And painted all the trim'zzzz

Dropped it on .

Timed it up and fitted rocker cover ( still needs a final buff to bring rocker cover back up )

Fitted manifold and sump to see how much clearance i have.

Max then Came down with his northern charm and tig welder to help me fab up a few things :) THANKS MAX !!!

He made me up some plates and we made a front strut/Radbar

Made some low ass subrame for seats I'm using ( calibra turbo ) Full heated as there wide and comfy for my fat fuck self

Shortened the manifold a inch or so

Can see now its inline if not smaller then sump :)

Then got on with wrapping it in titanium heat wrap.

God this is a ballache of a job !!!!

Itchy shit but not as bad as non titanium.

First two branches i was pleased with.

Rest were really awkward as the branches were touching and crossed over alot ..

Did what i could and didnt have enough to wrap the down pipes but should be ok or may finish ..

Can see on the centre section where there was no where for me to go part from round two branches at a time ..

Bit messy but will do :)

Going to paint bay then drop it in so i can get it running and just get the car sprayed and will be preety much finished then par few minor jobs :)

Oh i also fitted my rear arb and used a set of MAXGT blocks so there solid mounted now, Not the best fitment due to me drilling them at weird angles first time round lol

Made the car feel abit more rigid on the rear :)

Will get some pictures tonight.

Max is back down this weekend to finish of seat subframes and he just couldnt bare to be away from me ..

Did abit more since last week .

Max came down again, We got his shedvan Mot'd and did abit on mine :)

Heres what i've been up too recently..

Hole welded up and filled and shaped, Bastard job, Needs another skim but got the main shape :)

Placed the wing back on just to match lines etc and start prepping the car ..

Both seats in now

Strut brace welded in by max.

Front gt brace

Rear ARB set up :)

Got all the arms painted and steering rack has new boots and gators. No pics of that atm

PS dont buy hammerite spray, Just falls off lol.

Will get some more pics. when i cba Hoping engine in start of next month and its getting sprayed before end of july and get car back on road in aug for action and at a push may go to retro rides gathering :)

Forgot to say. Picture of the crank bearing in block side Is only a mock up, it wasnt wrong way.
