Nyom Nyom Nyom . Made a start last night and took the grinder to a few rust spots .. may have to use some krust or similar as theres tiny bit of pitting and don't want the paint to lift a year down line

Well I've got a compressor and DA.

So going to do as much as i can .. Hoping to get it to the stage of ready to base coat. My mate owns a body shop down the road so ill just trailer it there or something and flat it . So hoping preety much all the prep is going to be done by my self and a few mates :) ..

Needs to be done in two hits though as door's, bonnet, boot and wings are all coming off :)

I've done everything to the car myself ..

First car and i said i would just lower it and put wheels on . Paha no that soon changed,

After i done this i cant think of one thing i've not changed/fixed on the car. Litrally everything has been done by myself on this car with abit of help from mates on a few things.

1. becuasue I'm a tight arse and dont want to fork out for a job which i could teach myself and do for free lol

2. I know whats been done and how .

At the end of the day polo's are piss to work on and its just like mechano, nuts and bolts lol ..

Paint on the other hand, I've helped out in my mates body shop but we shall see how well it comes out ..

Seen better days so after a set of good condtion wings

Inside of mine where the arch liner bolts are missing etc :/

Blocks sent off to be honed .. had a few minor score marks but lets hope honing takes it out :)

I think I should have honorary first passenger ride down the strip at pod to see how my engine has moved on :)

Stripped beam down and cleaned it up abit .. Krust has become my freind, stuff like this its sick for

First coat of hammerite

New cylinders .. Used the bigger ones to see if they work any problems i will just swap over

Painted stup axels up and got the beam built up

Something to allow me to have a decent amount of lows and have some more comfort than the budget shocking kits

Props to the main man, you know who you are.. :) steal of a price too

Will allow me to play with spring rates abit to if need be :)

Cut the bump stops from this to about 15mm

Bit of a gutter as the compressor i was using decided to stop workign :( wouldnt kick in at first without reseting it, now just humms when i press reset button :/

sounds like the starter. change the capaciter on it firat or swap it for a known good one and see what happens

Rear beam and coilovers fitted, Just need to fit my new hoses and connect the handbrake back up.

I see what you mean about the spacer dude lol, Without it the tank would be on the floor lol

Ill have a look at capaciter also check valve is ment to be a problem from what i've seen .
