Think i might have to leave the engine conversion for a few months and do it nearer to xmas time...

Still have to buy alot of things and dont have the money atm..

Tbf I'm in two minds . I really want this engine in but still unsure on few things and dont want to have it in and cant get it running for action lol :(

cz I've got a huge tent which i can bring, well you just got over a month so its possible, its just paying for things like tuning which will be the effort lol hows the snowflakes?

Not bad mate.. Just need to sand them down then going to blast them in primer and spray them . Still going to do the inserts ;) lol

Need someone clued up on carbs to give me a hand getting the engine running tbf lol .:(

All one colour otherwise they look tacky. I'd say white,silver or grey!

Yeah i did it at local asda carpark nick .. That type R was mint yesterday, Just cus I'm from the ghetto init .

Engine isnt fitted yet because you aint come down to fit it for a wicked zinga meal .

Yeah you can just about see it .. I spent like a hour at the scrap yard getting it off in the most awqard posistions etc..

Got back and realised the civic ones are exactly the same as its the same era car lmao ..

O well he's scrapped his now:( lol .

I can see how if fits but like you said, might have to cut abit of the webbing off :/ lol

Had 3 the same way and 1 wrong in the past, fukin idiots. Not hard to fit a tyre correctly!

Haha i know, In all fairnuss i talk to the guy alot and he's built a boosted astra gsi which is about 400 bhp, they were all the same way so he obv thought the other 2 were left lmao..

Oh and to top it off, when i finished the wheels, my mate moved the stand and it fell facedown -_- so thats been redone now :)..

Ye i started off with shit drill bits and hot swarf falling down my sleeves, ended up on the bench grinder sharpening and duck taped my sleeves up hah.

Haha, i aint got the car back on ground yet mate :( , Gotta bleed brakes, put new wheel's/tyres on, Somehow my handbrake cable is dead tight to get back in the bracket:S Loosend the adjuster off the lever but still wont got on ?? any idea's ?? ( Thought it was cus i pumped brakes causing them to lock the shoes on but they still spin ) :S

Oh and put zorst back on and go over to check all bolts are tight .. would of been done last night but nothing went to plan haha

Put that end in first then the other end. It looks like you have to go further with 1 side that the other? well that side goes in first. IIRC its the handbrake to the N/s wire that goes in first and then the offside one just falls in preety much :-)

I've tryed it both ways but, your saying put the cable in the bigger bracket and attach it to the smaller one last ?.. taking it off was minimal effort :/ lol

Its not really spam when its helping you out.

iirc the way i did it was to remove the small bracket that holds the cables, the nearside has to go further across the bracket to go in and so that went in first and the other side just goes in upwards so doesent have to stretch as far, i put that in second. Pic below kinda explains it:
