i love how narrow minded people are on this forum, its a jap style that gets alot of respect.

just think about the amount of times people have spat there dummy out on here cos somebody has said this or that looks shit etc.

look at this thread and educate yourselves, its not all BBS and smoothed bumpers, theres been 30 years of car modding before people started pissing about with water cooled granny cars

I couldn't disagree anymore.

Everyone can have their own opinion and personally that Van looks fuck ugly.

We're not in Japan. We're not Japanesse. It has no respect.

And also for 30years? More than 30 years. When 'hot rodding' started around 1940 that was the start. Thats 70 years ago. Then it was about making your car go faster, whether it be in a straight line or round a corner. they didn't go stick outrageous body kits on and stupid wings on the roof.

IT LOOKS SHIT. END OF.

It's has been on TopGear Wall of Shame.

And you can see why

you huh! lol!

Leave the outside like that, get a 2 litre zetec and stick a turbo on it... because, errrr..... petrol's cheaper than diesel (per litre).

Petrol may be cheaper but that 1.8 diesel does nearly 3 times the amount of miles to a tank then my 1.4 Petrol!

True, but that doesn't give you an excuse to mod it.

just because some thing gets a lot of respect in some circles doesn't mean it will get respect from every where. when you start going to extremes people either won't get it or just plain don't like it, and that style is fucking extreme

i'd like to think i'm far from small minded but that thing is horrendous styling wise ~(imo)~, and it having all the respect in the world from certain people won't change that opinion. it's not about respect it's about personal opinions, you can't tell me that the builder of that van expected every one to like it? it's like me going out and mounting a 3 foot tall fibre glass cock on the roof of my polo, some people would get it and see the funny side of it but many others would be offended by it. going to extremes will always provoke a reaction of some sort and some thing as extreme as the van posted is a prime example of some thing that is so extreme that most people that see it will be like WTFBBQ?!

now if he had played it safe with the van and gone FDM then the world would be a better place, but unfortunately he didn't :-(
