Haha, oh dear. And nah Adam its cool, tbh i dont think mine could be any slower than yours... i would hope, otherwise i feel sorry for you!! Yeah i fitted the coupe s interior, it made it so much quicker haha.. getting a few more parts whilst I'm away for two weeks on work stuff.. so once I'm home got to crack on and get as much sorted as possible before polo show, sadly my drivers side will still be hanging :( cry.

right, motivation is needed, so bad. Works been pretty hectic recently though and I'm constantly skint, i have been debating getting rid and buying a slightly more modern car, possibly a diesel and tune it.. but now I'm also thinking, nah stick with it and it can be my baby... at the moment i just drive it round all the time and its just becoming more hanging, need to sort the body work out soon, add lows, wheels that fit and some engine tuning! Future plans are.. possible twin choke webber, H&R kit, custom done BBS RA's... and obvious sort out the damage from it being rolled.. have spoken to a mate who says he can help out (works in a body shop) so thats good news..

one thing i am after asap, is a drivers door? idealy in my colour if not then i can respray, any driver doors people!?!

This weekend I'm going to try do some little bits just to get into it a bit more, will post updates soon, and if i dont, bitch slap me and feed me motivation please people!!

right, car's now a wee bit lower on the rear only at the mo, 40mm, took hours all due to shite thread and some other small issues, all done on the rear now, love the height, i didnt want it too low as i live in the forest and i like having a working spine :) will upload pictures tonight, ran out of time last night to do fronts... plus wasnt really in the mood after all the swearing i was doing!

right so I'm really need to stop being lazy and as I'm ill currently with a day off work it means i can update you all with pictures I've been collecting... having done much work due to a friend just buying a breadvan wanting to restore it so been helping strip his down.. (which alot of my new goodies came off!)

right, so drove to portsmouth a while back and got a quick snap whilst i was there...

here's two shit photos trying to show the rear end on lows...

then tried getting my exhaust off but after realizing it was on solid and that i had no room, i decided to get it on the ramps at work and swap the rear exhausts over... so now running some home made rear pipe.. sounds ok, gives grunt when you want it... :)

then the official VW roof rack went on for my bike

and one rainy day (it didnt start off raining...?) i decided to do one caliper.. waiting to do the other...

things that i haven't got pictures of yet, new HT leads, supposedly performance ones, yeah right! and plugs.. car was revving up and running on, fiddled with the carb whilst on an emissions tester, got it running right but realized the autochoke is balls... also bodged the carb to mani gasket to stop air getting in and things, need to replace the carb soon as i cant be bothered to fix it.. stupid auto choke, whilst it was apart i replaced some hoses and clips that where buggered, realized the vacuum advance doesnt work.. so shall have to sort that soon or swap to electric ignition?

some black carpet arrived yesterday, shall fit it this weekend hopefully, got me some underseal too... got a few bits i need to weld up too.. nothing major.. looking for GT rear bench and a drivers door still by the way... will also have all my seats and carpet for sale/swaps for either of these... or what ever, need stuff gone and need new stuff!

Yeah thats what i figured, pretty gutting and as i earn jack all (apprentice) and shit with money, money goes towards other bits instead of sorting the drivers side out.. but think i may have found a door which i could respray.. will have to see what i can do with the wing too as that was bent in and stopped the door opening... haha yeah, I'm pretty OCD with cleaning my car, just got some more goods actually so once I'm back at the weekend from ford college i'll be doing some more work as well as giving her a full clean over... cheers fella!

nooo, he sold them to someone else damn it, the wheel choice is a secret (not that hard to find out though..... but dont ruin the surprise).. like i say, refurb first to make them different from the rest which will take a while before they get shown on here...

get a wing and door from a breakers, get them sprayed same time, Bosh jobs a good'un :)

damage is more than that though, drivers side (including rear quarter) has SMALL dents and chips all along it... but yes, new door found i think, in red... so not sure the plan yet but its chea[ so will get that friday/weekend.. :) and adam il message you... dont ruin the fun!
