Central locking....really weird.

basically guys, after a year i finally changed my central locking pump and now can lock both doors . however, my problem is i can stick it in the passenger side door and it'll open and close both doors. although putting it in the driver side door will only open and close the driver door..

theres obviously no leaks in the central locking pipes otherwise one side wouldnt work. any ideas?
