Yes mate, just wobbles for now, when I have a bit more cash I will get some G23 engineering (on Edition38) adaptors made up, and get them made thick as the wheels could do with being slightly wider set

Right time or an update, car is now sitting lower (rear adjusters and front helper springs out) and the new rims are finally powdercoated after a few problems. I got the wheels cheap off a mate but they had been in his garden for some time and were quite corroded. With a nice bit of stretch the wheels set things of nicely I think, I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking

Not really an update, but a few weeks ago I emailed a few pics to PVW hoping to get them on the readers rides page on their website, never heard back, and then got a bit of a surprise at the back of this months mag :)

Cheers mate, they're not on adaptors, just wobble bolts: 5x98 to 5x100. I will be getting adaptors at some point but they will have to be custom made as nobody makes a set. As for cost these were in a bad way and only cost me £75 for the set with part worns :) and then the strip and powdercoat was £200. Not sure what a clean set goes for, I think about £200 without tyres. As for tyres these are 165/40/16 on a 6.5j so a nice little bit of stretch.

Although 6n2 is 4x100? So same applies but with 4x98 alfa wheels, or could run 5 stud with adaptors.

cheers bro! they were a mess and then gas inside the wheel kept causing it to bubble in the powdecoaters' oven, so i was chuffed when they finally came out like this. Big thanks again to Dubshire Works for sorting this!

Haha yeah there was a pic of the grey golf parked head on with the T5 and the top of its bumper is nearly under the bottom of the T5's!

And I'm sure you've asked before mate but I got it from Trade Part Specialists, genuine VAG parts place, but you can get it from Seat too. Works out about £40, or it did when I got this one. You'll need some self tappers and a hacksaw or something to cut it to size, lots of fitting guides on the net, none for the 9n but lots of similar ones.

Cheers buddy! yeah do it, put a bit more about it in the post above. Beware though if you're going on coilies it will catch :p I'm wound up 14mm at the front so it doesn't sit on the ground all the time.
