Cars looking nice!, got any pics of the new bluemotion valance ? Would look good with some poke but don't know how that would work with the wobble bolts.

Cheers man! It doesn't work with wobble bolts but never fear custom adaptors will soon be here, maybe. Bluemotion valance not on yet but hopefully will be some time in July.

Oh forgot to ask, about your front bumper splitter, eBay? Easy to fit or did it need much modding to get it on?

Front splitter was from Trade Parts Specialists or try a Seat dealer. As for fitting there's no specific guide for a 9n I think but follow one for any car as its the same method, I used a TT guide I think.

In other news its tasty tasty update time. The jap spec bumper and bluemo valance I've been holding onto for a few months is now fitted and the custom wheel adaptors I've been after for a best part of a year are on, I love it when a plan comes together. Really loving this car again now, also not the front numberplate position is just temporary, I had it off to see what a smoothed one might look like.

Cheers man, yeah losing the flaps made a real difference, love the poke visible from behind.

Thanks, much appreciated. Not sure really man, its taken a few years but I've done most of the things I planned now, I have some crazy interior plans but need to plan and decide whether to keep this and sink big dollar into it or sell up after the next show season and buy my dream mk3 VR or someting RWD. For now though I'm enjoying the polo way to much to think about selling any time soon!

you should colour code the bump strips,

I think it would look smoother.

Clean car anyway tho.....

Aha yeah I get that a lot but I really like the textured black bumpstrips. I actually bought a smooth strip with the jap bumper by mistake and got it painted in black texture to match.

Cheers though dude!

Just a small update, double din JVC unit, with a 12 disc changer and hands free. I've also bought some new secret bits that were previously on a certain very low static black 9n...watch this space...

Aberystwyth mate, what about you?

A few questions how did you do the rear bumper or where did you get it and what are the wheels called?

Rear bumper I got from Trade Parts Specialists (VAG parts place), I can't remember the part number but if you ask them for a Jap spec polo 9n bumper you should be fine; it was about £230. The lower section is a bluemotion rear valance that I was given by a generous mate!

The wheels are Alfa Romeo teledials and are on custom adaptors. I'm pretty sure I'm the only 9n running them...for now ;)
