Did you have to get different spigot rings for the Alfa wheels? And what is the offset like without spacers? Aren't they like 47et?

Right time or an update, car is now sitting lower (rear adjusters and front helper springs out) and the new rims are finally powdercoated after a few problems. I got the wheels cheap off a mate but th

I didn't run spigots for a few reasons namely that the difference in bores is less than 1mm, however I wouldn't recommend it at all! The offset without adaptors was ET41.5, hence the adaptors are both pretty wide.

Below is a pic of the offset as it looked on wobbles

I love that color!

Nice pics!

Thanks man, the colour never fails to put a smile on my face!

Why would you not recommend it, and if I was to get spigot rings do you know the two different sizes, to know what spigots to get?

I think they look goodwithout spaces anyway did they run okay

Alfa teledial bore is 58.1 and the VW steel is 57.1, so 1mm spigot rings needed. Without them the wheels were not properly centred and at higher speeds made the steering wheel shake; that's why I wouldn't recommend them.

Aha personal opinion if you think they look ok without adaptors though, they just look a little lost in the arches. To give you an idea my adaptors now are 36mm at the back and 31 mm at the front and front is only just flush with the arch.

Good luck though dude, they are a lovely wheel!

Nice I live in port talbot.. Didn't know you lived in wales when I was on here with the polo

Been a while since I updated this thread and a few big changes have happened. The car is now on airrex and firestone bags with Autopilot V2 management, I got the votex splitter and skirts onwhich have really transformed the look I think and last week I changed up the wheels after two years on the alfas! I'll let the pics do the talking.
