No updates to report, I'm incapacitated at the moment after an operation

Dans been in touch about the pedal box - let me know if i can help you out at all on this subject- i can make a box to do what you require if you want. I've asked about on the motor subject, not got any coming up around me at a decent enough price for the whole lot.

Cheers! yeah I'm going to start stripping the underside over the weekend and then stone chip, yellow base coat and lacquer.

It's a pretty good piece of kit if you only really want to do small jobs underneath, the problem is you have to leave the rear beam on and at least one side of the front suspension, which restricts 100% access to the whole of the underside, to completely strip and paint underneath I will have to remove the rear beam, and front suspension and roll the car onto a couple of mattresses. (not looking forward to doing that)

To be honest a spit or rotisserie is a lot easier and a lot less hassle, as once the spit is fitted the car can be rotated 90 degrees either way gaining you full access, i used one on my mk1 golf last year to strip and paint the underside, trouble is you can't get a spit for a mk1 polo, the bumper fixings wouldn't be strong enough!

I'm making a spit for mine soon using two modified engine stands comes to around £100 with extra steel to make the car attachments
