As for the money, that would be the last thing on my mind if mine got stolen. Afterall, insurance is there to sort the money side of things out.

It would be the fact that some scrote had stolen my pride and joy, a car that I'd never be able to replicate. A car id spent far too much of my life working on/driving.

On the BBC news site, 4 people have been arrested.

Surely stopping at a petrol station would of been out of it, so phoning ahead to get mates with jerry cans to fill it up! who knows, afterall there were 4 arrested and only 2 people in the car. 2 differant stops for fuel? who knows! atleast they got it back i guess

They would have just rolled into a station, filled up, rolled out. What do they care about getting spotted anyway... the only thing on their priority was to keep moving beacuse if they ever stopped they were sure to be spotted no matter what.

Personally if i was gonna twoc something like that, id utilise the stripped out interior and fill it with jerry cans at the soonest oppurtunity. they where good at getting away with the car but shit a stripping it only took the back bumper, spoiler, and lightws. if any one else was stripping it there would only be a shell left not a full car minuse bumper

They've just stolen 100k's worth of very distinctive track car in front of hundreds of people then drove it straight down the motorway with no number plates on, do you really think they would be so bothered about stopping off at a petrol station that they would be running around with arm full of jerry cans?

Or be stood in the petrol station paying for petrol from that pump, on cameras so the police have a description of you?

Police find the car parked at the side of a road almost out of fuel, what's gonna be their first port of call as far as the enquiry goes? checking with any local patrol stations to see if any one bought a jerry can and fuel at about the time the car was found, which if they have they will be on cctv doing so anyway.

If they won't let you fill inside the car then how did olly put fuel In his mk3? lol. I know plenty of people who have had to fuel up in that way either do to relocated filler cap or a race tank.

Ben where the fuck are they going to get one of those army style jerry cans from? The only ones they could get at short notice and that are readily available are the little red plastic ones from a garage.
