Haha my grammar is embarrising

Dont get me wrong, i think its immaturity and jealousy that usually stirs this kind of crap, and i couldnt care less what you or your parents bought, however this is what irritates me-

Thanks guys! So happy! Been out since 2 o clock just got home haha, went through about £40 fuel already and nearly crashed it a few times haha

if i nearly had even 1 crash i would have shit running down my trousers- partly because i would probably be dead in my polo with no crumple zones, but also because the thought of loosing all the money i put into my car that i worked for and saved up would make me shit myself, even if its a fraction of the value of yours- i wouldnt post it on a forum and laugh it off

person didn't pull off at the lights and i wasn't paying attention and hit their spare wheel

... i understand anyone can have a slipup and crash, but the fact is, you should be extra careful in the first few weeks of driving especially- and referring to the previous quote its not exactly like it was a one off was it?

The fuckers have made a claim!!

what do you expect you crashed into them :retard:

I know but there was no damage on their car they were driving a Jeep and the spare wheel took all the impact, the only damage to their car was the cover on the spare wheel.''

This annoys me the most, its like if someone crashed into me, most likely they would think ''oh its only a old polo worth barely anything'' and that would piss me off sooooooooooo much even if it was a little scratch, its got alot more sentimental value, and how do you know they hadn't owned that jeep from new and loved it etc etc etc- this is where i can relate to the others comments towards you, see if you look at majority comments before the crash, they were all positive, even POLOMON wrote a positive comment lol.. but you crashing, being oblivious to how the other driver may have felt, having the car repaired straight away and then just everything being normal seems a perfect match to a stereotype of a 17 year old with a brand new car- sorry, but thats how it seems

just want to reiterate lol, thats not a statement brought up from jealousy, i could have bought a decent 9n3 with the money I've pumped into mk1s and my parents were so against me buying old cars they offered to buy me a modern polo but i refused lol

Yeah I've grown up a lot since then and learnt how to not drive like an irresponsible dick I assure you. On account for the last quote, it was a hire car so that's how I know they weren't attached to it and I can only assume it was a false whip lash claim as I highly doubt the hire car company would kick up a fuss about replacing a £20 cover.

just had a read of this. geeeez i dont understand why people cant keep bad opinions to theirselves, whats has he ever done to you, i thought all the people on this site were genuinely nice, but obviously not. if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything. its people like you that really fuck me off.

does your friend with the mk6 gtd have a thread on any forums? got a link?

Nothing worse than jealousy - nice Polo mate!

Not an update on the car but a general life update, part time job opening at my local Morrisons which I'm applying for so fingers crossed! If I can work a couple of shifts a week I should be able to get this baby lowered sometime this year. Gonna do that before looking at a sound system since it's been upgraded from stock already and is currently bearable.

Also I called up my local VW dealership and found out I can get a GTI front grill for £70 which I may pick up this weekend. Although slight problem with that, if you check here http://www.gtini.com/index.php?name=Forums...sc&start=30 the GTI badge can't be removed without leaving a knick in the grill however I found this guy http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa480/...gm/DSC_0934.jpg I'm assuming he replaced the GTI badge with the TDI badge so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick up a TSI badge? Or if I'd be able to get it changed at the dealer? I figured it's better having TSI on the front since that's a 1.2 rather than it looking like I'm trying to make out I've got a GTI when it's gonna be no where near as quick

Also what does everyone think to perhaps having the side mirrors black?

what litre is yours? None of the other polos even come close to the 1.2 tsi nevermind the GTI

it's a 1.2, haven't updated this thread in sooooooo long, check here for updates 8-)http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?...0&start=200

nice car mate

we've all on this forum because be love polo's so why are lads being bitches just because you have a 6r

funny that the lads giving you stick are all in the mk1-3 community

That car is way too nice/new to be a first car. My first car cost £300, and i could only just afford that. It was a MK1 polo 900cc, with no power steering, no head rests and electric nothing. The ideal first car, and what everyone should start with as you know it cant stop, handle or accelerate, so you learn to drive better and dont get cocky thinking the car will save you (why a lot crash in a few months), because you know it wont

whats funny about that? you have a 6n2?

Hi i have just read through this entire thread and it really does make me laugh. This poor lad just wants to talk polos and stuff but instead he gets shit, shit and then some more shit

Well dont worry mate i had my first car bought and payed for me as well all be it it was a citreon but i loved it none the less and guess what i got shit for the entire time i owned that car. But now i own a 12 plate polo r line bought and payed for myself and now whenever i see those haters in the street i slow down to make sure they see my car hahaha.

Love the car dude i have major plans for my car so i will be posting them on here as they unfold

why dont i? your taking the piss out of the older polos, yet you drive a 6n2, probably the most boring and dull thing to drive on the planet.
