Yeah sorry you're completely right, when I found out I had it I should have just told my Dad to take it back/re sell it he would've loved that and I'm sure if someone offered you a brand new car you'd turn it down mate!

And despite what you may think Steve, just because I have a car like this for my first car doesn't mean I'm a spoilt little kid, my Dad's always made sure there's been a reason behind anything I get, whether it's for academic achievements or birthdays or whatever, yeah I understand this is quite extravagant but I don't just get things bought for me for no reason and funnily enough I do realise I'm lucky to have a car like this so quit bitching, like I've stated several times I was unaware I was getting this car and if I'm 100% honest I genuinely would have rather used the £6k I'd saved up myself from working to get a 6n2 and spend the remanding cash on it but I could hardly tell my Dad after he gave me this that I'd rather have done that plus he used my £6k to buy it so maybe read around/understand the context of a situation before you go chatting sh*t

Also I paid the repairs out of my wages so don't worry I felt the consequences of what happened, most first time drivers crash within their first year, I know mine was very early on and is a bitch in a car like this but I felt the costs and have learnt from it.

Also 'B-Shaw' (cool name by the way..), my car still looks better in that picture than yours ever will

Wrapped the front section of my badge today, gonna spray paint the back section red so it hopefully will come out like this http://www.ebay.de/itm/VW-Emblem-Zeichen-F...=item27c0a265a5

so I tinted my fogs today, pretty pleased with them if I'm honest!

I'll be hopefully changing the badge tomorrow providing i can get hold of some red paint

Did a little bit more today, spent a while looking around on how to remove the boot handle, finally found out how and I took it out and carbon wrapped it. I'm not the best carbon wrapper so when this inevitably peels off I'm gonna remove it again and spray the whole thing white, also I'm gonna de wiper it when it gets to the summer weather

I really wanna lower it but with tax and insurance renewal coming up, accompanied with my summer holiday and also travelling next year my bank account isn't agreeing with it, I'm hoping to quit my job after the summer and get a full time job at apple for a while so hopefully then I'll be able to afford a nicer stance

fucking love that, i hate jealously, my mam and dad put towards my car and i jokingly said 'mammy and daady helped buy it' i put most of the money towards it (3k) and mam and dad put 2k in for my 18th and i got loads of shit for saying 'mammy and daddy' why can people get along? supposed to be on here because of one common thing 'enthuasts of the vw polo' so shit if some people are better off than others? its how the world works, if you all want people to be equal then move to china and enjoy being a communist :)

few more little updates I did today, again nothing major.

I finally got around to painting the badges, they came out alright few specks here and there but I was expecting that, also touched the front half of the front badge with my fingers which was stupid of me so I need to drop a bit of wrap back over that to hide the white paint haha.

I also decided to de wiper it which was a bit more of a task but again came out alright, pretty happy with the results
