Just saw your thread in the art requests section, I think those purple tt comps would look AMAZING! Weren't you thinking of porsche twists at one point though? I think if you got some and sprayed them as the same colour as the comps it would just complete your car

Twists had already been done by one of my mates so I wasn't feeling that. The Rota's are a bit unrealistic in both fitment and price.

Got the chance to get some 17 BLQs for £500 with tyres but I don't have the cash right now :( - I'm either gonna get BLQs or Comps and powder coat them candy purple :)

another teeny update - the yellow tinted fogs have gone now, felt they stuck out too much from the colour scheme.

Replaced them with some purple ones. The gloss black grill and fog surrounds show a bit better on this photo

haha, yeah there's not much difference between the golfs and polos in size now which seems a bit weird

Makes choosing wheels a hell of a lot harder as most of the ones I like suit smaller cars like the older polos and lupo

Thanks buddy! :) I've not actually spent that much! The main cost was my coilovers but everything else is just cheap little details and respraying bits and bobs :) it's surprising how well all the little details I made came together once I dropped it

True that attension to detail makes it stand out its good to see somthing new been made your own did you use photo shop 4 them purple wheels ?? Were did you get them purple fog lenses ?

Nah Liam did it for me.

They were just a cheap set off eBay from China or something haha - I like them but they don't tint the light when it's on unfortunately so I might get a purple HID kit for the fogs. I tinted the indicators as well on the wing mirrors but you can't really tell :(

I like the police, for the most part. And as for handing out section 59's, I'm sure its for a breach of some rule or other. Either follow the rules and campaign for change, or break the rules and accept the consequences. It's all part of being a responsible adult. As for shutting down your car meets, if they are attended by folk with your attitude, I'd have to say its a good thing. One moronic attitude in a car park is bad enough, but a whole Halfords car park full of morons deserves nuking. So i think your lucky to get off with being moved on.
