hahaha no need to be a c*nt mate, if you read around you'll see I had no idea I was getting this and I didn't ask for it, I had saved up £6k myself from working and saving and my Dad used that and put

  • Stop being a c**nt!!! I don't get all the fucking idiots that are giving you abuse. Most of 'em post their cars on here so you'd easily pick them out at shows. Tempted to make a list to be honest an

Since when 1st iv herd fuk me next they will b saying you after have square wheelss hahah fuk the po po full of shite power tripers iv got a D on my number plate to some1 eles on here said thats iligal too but police said nothing :p

What does this even say? And as for mature, hating the polics is hardly a mature attitude now is it.

Its police .... Lol Who likes police anyway handing out section 59's like there sweets wankers Closed 3 car meets now : /

I like the police, for the most part. And as for handing out section 59's, I'm sure its for a breach of some rule or other. Either follow the rules and campaign for change, or break the rules and accept the consequences. It's all part of being a responsible adult. As for shutting down your car meets, if they are attended by folk with your attitude, I'd have to say its a good thing. One moronic attitude in a car park is bad enough, but a whole Halfords car park full of morons deserves nuking. So i think your lucky to get off with being moved on.

Seriously boring now mate your just spamming this thread with shite no wants to no mate  I hate the police thats my view i dont care about yours for the record i havnt got a section 59 because i was one of the ones that gos to enjoy cars not to destroy my car 4 others enjoyment ......!! So back off !

Nah Liam did it for me.

They were just a cheap set off eBay from China or something haha - I like them but they don't tint the light when it's on unfortunately so I might get a purple HID kit for the fogs. I tinted the indicators as well on the wing mirrors but you can't really tell :(

Yea will have to have a nosey i want some :) but might have to get the hid's if thats the case ... And again mate i apologize for the shite people wont juat leave it lol anyway i seen sum purple wiper blades today on a black one same as yours looked mint : P

Nah Liam did it for me.

Always here to help! :p

The grills stand out more now you've sprayed them  , makes it look so mean. Personally I think you should stance it on those black wheels for now as they are cool.. But it maybe tricky as there quite small. Deffo has come along way since you dropped it.

P.S. So glad the yellow fogs are gone!

Thanks buddy! Difficult to get stance on them! :( Coilies are all way, adjusters out the back and 20mm spacers on the rear too, was gonna go 30 but it'll rub, helpers are coming out the front before GTI though.

Haha that seems to be a recurrent feeling!

No worries, Whats the spec's on the wheels bud? could get some 30mm spacers and stretch tyres/bit of camber. then wack the old spacers on the front with the helpers out and some stretch. £150 for some tyres and spacers. But then you could probs get some nice TT comps and get them powder coated for a little more.

  • Author

15s, no sure on the width or offset, my mates mentioned that earlier but like you said I could afford some comps - by the time i have enough cash to do that I'll probably have enough for a new set of wheels :) + I want some 17s for some nice rear arch tuck ;)

I am thinking then they will be like, 15's 6.5j, Et erm like 34 or something as they are manufacturer wheels. So be like the pots. 165/50R15's nice stretch. But the TT comps would look nice:

Tuck the fronts, Poke the backs.

definitely! I'll get a bit of stretch so hopefully I can keep my spacers and height that I've got :)

So I've set myself a few objectives and plans to get through in time for the Edition 38 show and shine at the end of August :)

Plans are as follows:

1. Finally get it sitting on some larger prettier shinier purpler wheels (to come next month)

2. Smoothing: Smooth out the plate recess on the front bumper, remove my vinyl wrap on the roof and smooth out the roof aerial and respray it gloss black and potentially smooth out the boot handle - what are peoples opinions on this? Here's one done - http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-...145934073_n.jpg (coming early/mid August)

3. Interior: I want to make an aesthetically pleasing boot build, right now I'm just gonna take my active sub apart and display the components nicer and neater but I might add more if finances allow. The other plan I want to try and get done in time is a full retrim of my seats - I'm thinking black leather with purple stitching, since interiors expensive I'm gonna have a word with my Nan as she's a dab hand at sowing and has done many fancy wedding dresses and curtains etc so hopefully she'll be able to help out! (mid/late august)

Anyway there's gonna be a lot coming over the next few months so stay posted! - Also as aforementioned any opinions on the boot smoothing will be much appreciated as I am in two minds as I like it stock and smoothed but can't work out which more!

Mate! Sounds good but be carefull for your warranty! But if you get that all done it will look fly. You may see me if I pass.

  • Author

This is way better than a warranty ;) I won't be fiddling with electrics so they should be fine. I can't see what could go wrong that they could blame interior or smoothing for.

When's your test? Good luck with it bud!

I wouldn't smooth the boot, doesn't look that nice to be honest.

Got to keep the boot badge. Just do the roof and the bumper resess (front and back). Erm not sure won't be far away tho.

  • Author

I duuuunnoo I'm tempted, I like the smoothed boot and there aren't any 6Rs with it to my knowledge (the one in the photo has been returned to stock to sell on)

also nice photo someone took at DC12 - displays the gloss blacked grills quite nicely I think :D
