White Polo 6r

Ahaha that's a valid point made kids ;p. :o OZ's ar'nt halfords wheels. :)

EDIT keep in mind if you Re rap your roof you wont have to do that much of smoothing to get a good finish as if you were to paint, Also if u ever get any scratches on a black roof they are so blatant (see mine), vynil's just easier and it doesn't need polishing :)

Just read this whole thread lol, a lot of hate on you for getting this brand new car. Even though i have the same oppinion about that i also would prefer to buy my own car (i have a 6n) than getting it from mom or dad i'm happy on your ways! Not many people on your/our age get that chance.

Bad luck with your crash, just be sure to take care of your baby for the rest of it's time in your hands. ;)

White with pink hmm.... would almost be perfect with some 12000K (Violet) HID's for your car, would fit the purple stuff on your grille, and maybe some purple LED's aswell. You could also choose the blue version instead with 6000 or 8000K for your wheels. :p Keep going with it mate, it already looks very good!

Heres a pic of 12000K HID: 33187540019_large.jpg

Haha thanks man!

Don't worry she gets well taken care of - I spent 5 hours today cleaning clay barring and waxing her for GTI on Sunday, even waxed the wheels haha!

I steered clear of HIDs just cause of the legality, I've just got straight swap xenon look bulbs fitted, I am considering getting a purple colour HID kit for my fogs though maybe, wheels is my first priority though!

Garage was a tight squeeze so I couldn't get any decent pics... She's staying in there till Sunday

Also I just decided to try out my mates wheels for a laugh, he drives a MK4 Golf and he's running RF reps 8J front 10J on the back. Tried on one rear and the results was a ridiculous amount of poke... Couldn't even take my car off the jack because the arch was touching the tyre before I got it all the way down

Managed to have the shittest start to my 18th birthday today - I was leaving a car park in Leicester and managed to scrape my side skirt on the curb due to fiddling with my sat nav. The paint is about to come off so I need to sort it ASAP and its pushed the skirt up slightly also. Took it to my local body shop and they quoted me £280 for the repair so it looks like any work on this car is gonna be put off for quite some time now, especially seeing as I'm going to uni in September.

Really f**ked up my day I'm so angry at myself - if anyone knows anywhere I could get it done cheaper in the midlands area please let me know

Try Raymond and sons from Dudley I think. We use them for our local repairs and I'm not to far away. Nice to see your looking after her ;) ahaha

I'll have a look, bit far from me though I think.

I've got 2 options at the minute, either bite the bullet and pay the repairs next payday and maybe try and squeeze my front bumper smoothing out of the place too for £450 or just sand a paint the side skirt my self for a bit to stop it rusting

How bad is it?

get a pic up?

Might be able to sort the paint out yourself with a drop of filler and a rattle can and then get the sill pulled back in place when you can afford it

sorry didnt notice, tbh dude, as long as you take your time and prep right you can sort that out with a rattle can :)

good news, think the skirt is fibre glass so might get away with filling it. Either way hopefully can leave it for now without it rusting :)

Now I'm on my moms comp i can see the damage. It will most likely be plastic or fiber glass. If plastic try the heat on it, It cant really get any worse as you might be lucky and it might pop out. Then sand it down and fill. Respray with a colour matched can from a paint shop not halfords ahah

Yeah, I know the lad that did the repair on my car when I crashed it and he'll do it really cheap for me outside of his employer so I'm gonna let him take a look :) at least I know it won't rust now and also you can't see it unless you know it's there
