Mate has one of these but think the sensor that contol's the idle and also the cold start sensor is dead aswell lol

he's tight and doesnt want to buy another SPI for it, now i have a Manifold and SPI from a AEX 1.4 8v engine, will that by any chance bolt onto the 1.0 and work?
