Been keying the paint up today, not the most interesting thing to photo mind but have one anyway

Johns got a couple of beetle wings to paint and then we can get it in the garage and get the Windows out and start the proper prep work

I enjoyed keying up the coupe

I've been trying to find a new wing for this to save me having to do any more welding but with time running out before we need to get it painted yesterday I gave up on putting off the inevitable

Also sorted out a hole in the wheel well and a bit of rust on the rear valance

Hopefully that's the last of the welding done

Why don't you keep this dude? And swap the good bits from your t'other one onto this?

It's gonna be mint when its done and you need to sort the body work out on the 16v...

The 16v only needs a blow over and a new wing, that's a lot of effort to go through just to save giving one car a blow over max

Should look lovely when its painted, I dont mind prepping for spraying, but you are right it can take a while lol
