1.4 L 6N, 3door in red, 72k - cheap!

Featured Replies

Hello,

This is my mam's car; she has had it for 3 years and it has had a lot of work done to keep it right. I've serviced the car myself every year, and it's got 9 months MOT. The body work is not in good condition - there are rust problems on the rear arches, some on the roof and some on the doors, however it is presentable and the only mechanical problem is the automatic gearbox.

The gearbox developed a noise, and we've had our local garage replace the transmission oil to try and cure it given that the car has only covered 72,000 miles, however the noise persists. If you can fix it yourself, replace the 'box or use the rest of the car for something else, then you'll certainly have some cheap transport for it. Things have been replaced over our ownership to keep it running properly - there have been no bodge jobs; it's just a shame about the body work.

The car is in Hartlepool, we a re looking for £280 and I will get pictures the next time I visit her. I can be contacted on 07963122592 or swalsey@hotmail.com, or of course PM me on here.

Thanks,

Antony
