Ford Capri 1.6

Featured Replies

I recently picked up a mk3 1.6 Calypso Capri but due to some work changes my finacial sitution has changed so i need the space and cash.

Its a 1.6 Calypso, 33K miles genuine by looking at the service history. Its in a 2 tone blue and silver/grey.

Interior is mint and blue/grey.

Has near enough a years MOT and tax until November.

I paid 1500 for it a month ago and drove it the 3 hour trip home fine only issues I've found is the passenger door probably needs replacing as its the only bit hit by bad rust. The heator motor needs replacing and a small dent in the rear which should pull out fine.

The other problem is at low revvs it can cut out if your not careful, a local garage suspect it just needs the carb taking apart and cleaning but i do not have the time to get this done myself. As i said, its still drivable just needs a little more work. Great rolling resto project for someone with time.

as i said i paid 1500 just a month ago, so would take 1400 or a sensible offer.

I'm based in Bradford so not far at all.

Pictures can be seen here.
