anyone who still thinks this is 'for a cause' is either utterly ignorant or stupid. Yes it may have started because of the shooting but they were peaceful protests. All it is now is dumb little chavs who have seen an opportunity and simply jumped upon it, you can't seriously say the people looting and stealing tvs and games consoles are doing it because a lad got shot, they're doing it because they see an easy opportunity to gain a bit of cash to help them keep buying weed whilst they sit on the dole.

The thing is with the benefits, it will just make things worse and that is how you will get this ''lost generation'' that the government are so wary about.

What they need to do is firstly stop the violence and prosecute anyone involved, short term.

But long term they need to do serious work into why the youngsters in our country are so angry and bored and then go from there to stop this short of thing happening in the future.

In my opinion the UK has finally imploded due to the lack of intelligence in the place.

Kids these day just uneducated and unmotivated with no ambition in life, being on the dole is seen as the way forward. And if you're part of a gang looting video games from a corner shop then your getting somewhere in life!

It's all down to how these kids have been pandered to their whole lifes. The government made it illegal to discipline them, schools taught them that it was fine to fail at life and had no powers to discipline them if they got out of hand. They have been allowed to do what they please their whole lives and if some one gave them a clip round the ear for it they could get them convicted of it.

Far too many 'parents' seem to not even care what their kids are getting up to and there seem's to he very little the police can do about bastard kids until a certain age and then it normally seems to be too late. The 'justice' system in this country is a pure joke too so even if they do end up in prison its like a fucking holiday camp.

The problem is there is now a whole generation of people failed by their parents, the government, the education system ect, who think that life owes them some thing and have no respect for any one or anything. The seeds of this were sowed a long time ago and now its come to a head, but other than setting up Hitler style shower blocks to deal with them there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. We are stuck with a generation of people that feel they are owed some thing by society, that don't feel they need to contribute and that are emotionally and financially dependant on society.

This is devolution, a social experiment gone wrong. The aim? To make a generation so stupid they would believe any thing they were told no matter how stupid, a generation so dependant on the government that those in charge could manipulate them to vote for them through threats of loosing their state hand outs.
