What about the rights of the hard working, law abiding citizens who's lives they're destroying...fuck they're human rights mate.

Definitely, there gets to a point when a decision has to be made surely. Isn't it the innocent local shop keepers' human rights to not have their entire livelihood go up in flames?

Very glad to hear on the radio just now than instead of the 6000 police in London last night, there will be 16000 tonight. It's a start..

EDIT: sarcasm or not, it seems to be the way things are atm!

I did mate but it's got me so fooking angry this Guy...

A mini-riot kicked off last night/early hours in Bristol, usual places - Stokes Croft, St. Pauls, Broadmead etc. Apparently they cleaned up a lot overnight so there wasn't much to report, according to the BBC.

Give power back to the Police, not the people. Get the army in, the innocent people will soon fuck off and hopefully the troublemakers will be dealt with accordingly.

It's very sad watching it on the news, can't believe this is happening in the country.

loughs at the above :p

I really feel sorry for anyone who lives in the affected areas. these kids are a disgrace to the country, and will not be punished, whatever the police say about 'full force of the law' will not scare them.

water cannons would only work to a point, as the violence is so widespread. A curfew could work, crazy as it sounds, but really the coppers have just got to wait it out. wait until the rioters get bored.

wheres the oither thread gone, did the looters nick that too?

i feel for the decent peolpe in these areas when they try to renew there car/home insurance next time, they will get laughed at

all because of these fucking idiots

police are just as to blame though, standing there while there thieving and smashing property tells all the other areas in this country they cant and wont stop them

police should have had a baton fest in tottenham the other night, wouldnt have all this now imo

If,at the start of the riots, the Police had access to a force multiplyer like

Water Cannon, the riots would have been over well before tonight....

But all they have to stop it with are some sticks and harsh words...

So basically it's a bunch of drunken chavs (who are drinking at 9am!) who are trying to show the police and the "rich" they they can do what they want.

Well i'm sorry, but if some silly little chav starts "doing what they want" anywhere near my family, my home or any of my property, they'll get some fucking justice.

The fucking idiot's don't even know who runs the country that they live in... they're targeting the "rich" people with businesses... people who've actually worked for what they've got.

Fucking x2 :x

however... burning down a local bakery, a sweet shop?? maybe the person who owned the bakery shop was a millionnaire, or worse... a nice person!

the country is fucked end of police are powerless little and no work in many areas benifits cut for those who actually need them rediculosly high price of petrol

taxed on just about everythin and at high rate

the country is a joke time cut and run.. well i will be as soon i can anyway

Well no wonder, I wouldn't go to London after the last three nights. I think I'll stay in the country side for now.

Mancs gone up. Dunno if I'm gonna have to go into work or not :/

Probably cause the people in London have slightly more important things on their mind than posting on cp atm

There were a few posts in the last thread from people in effected areas posting saying what was going on late last night but woke up to it gone this morning. Tbh tho its fucking everywhere now, just been round a mates and his idiot brother was saying how if it goes off he's gonna rob a transit van and do over the jewelers in town. He hasn't got the brains to even get close to pulling it off and he hasn't got the bollocks to try it, but that's the mentality of the people doing this shit.

They don't want justice, they don't want answers, they just want a new tv.

Got evacuated from work at 4pm today, Salford and Manc have gone up now :/ No idea if I'm expected to go into the office tomorrow or not. I can do my job from home, fuck going in unless I have to!

I'm a few miles from birmingham city centre, only thing that worried me was that my daughter stayed at mine last night, dont want her knowing whats going on

but as far as where i live I'm not that concerned for my safety, step to my property or anyone elses in this area and they will be punished bad

may get on this street but promise they wont get off it

Well...I've just heard that the riot in Tottenham really started becuse Harry Redknapp wanted to buy Emile Heskey...

...and the riot in Birmingham started because Alex McLeish wouldn't sell him

   funny, but so true

Riots in England aren't anything new, there were massive ones in the 80's across the country. Only reason these ones might take longer to die down is the police can only use pansy methods of dealing with these wrongens

I cant believe they are Looting Oxfam

That, right there, says everything you need to know about the people doing it..
