so what you're sayin guys, he cant lower it cause of the insurance? Surely it cant be that much of a difference on the premium. Plus, i would just lower it, dont think they ll come to your house one day and say "you didnt tell us bout the suspension" .

Its like they CANT prove who the 1st driver is, physically impossible! They would have to follow you everywhere.

I too thought this too. Sometimes you have to think what they might be thinking.. "oh look, he/she is adding 'uprated' springs and shocks, they must be doing something to the performance of the car to need this" Completely not realising that its probably close enough to touching the floor so it can't physically go that fast. Sucks though!

I know its ridiculous :/

small update well not really, coilovers 80mm down, new rims on today aswell as the coilovers n a few vinyls, what do u think, pressed plates, bonnet bra etc,

Whoa! Looks way better! Haha I like the VW logo on the sunvisors too! I think you should ditch the blue numberplate surrounds though, it looks like you have a silver black theme starting.. maybe a new direction

amazing what u can do with £500 :L, i like my blue thgh, hw about black number plate surroungs :L I've got blue inside n splatter still inside :L, gonna get wheel spacers as its as low as it can on the front 5mm gap with no1 in the car :L, gt silver dice caps cumin, black roof maybe???

I thght fuck it lowr it and get some new wheels, i know do i go 20mm all round or i was thinking 15mm front 20mm back, then after winter ill take the mudflaps off and lower it more

The wheels r cumin off end of next month and the other mg ones jst for the winter, also gettin the back bumper smoothed and front number plate smoothed, spraying the number plate surrounds black, black mirrors n black roof

Small update, winter wheels on, lowered more so tucking underneath, bought some 20mm spacers for the rear when i get the rotas back on in the summer, sprayed the calipers n drums silver, blue has gone completely on the outside and the inside, all thats left is engine bay and dials to be despplattered, gnna do it black and silver, no desplatter or blue, nice n clean,silver stitched gear gaiter, also put my black wing mirrors on, vinyled black door panels, blacked tghe number plate surrounds and gone silver trim inside, also new stickers pics below, also tookt eh bonnet bra off

opinions (vwking), no more updates besides desplatter start of next year, black roof, put y wheel spacers on, lower more, polish rocker cover, remove mudflaps, put my wheel whore and slamed sticker on and were about there

Do the rover wheels just fit straight on before you lowered it, i,e no spacers or anything needed? I think they look sweet keep it up

Oh and what were the tyres on them?

had to have them drilled at a machinist as there 56.1 and my polo bore is 57.1, these are only winter wheels, no spacers, i think there 195/50/15 i believe, may sell them if you interested?

yeah possibly, though it depends on how much you want for them and how cheaply i could get them silver, not that i dont like the black, just on my purple/ blue polo it wouldnt suit too well, i have a very limited budget haha
