Mk4 Golf V6 4Motion

Featured Replies

Hello all.

Right.... I'm parting with my much loved Golf. Its been a fantastic car in the 2 and a half years i've owned it. Not given me any problems apart from a couple of coil packs. The reason for selling is that i shall be moving out soon and need something smaller and less thirsty. Not that is a huge issue really. Just want to keep running costs down, and dont see that happening driving a 2.8 [:p] That said tho, its a fantastic drive.

Anyway... Enough rambling.

Spec:

Engine: 2.8 v6 (BDE engine code) 4Motion,currently on 85,500 miles and still going strong

Pipercross panel filter in standard air box (or a neuspeed race series CAI), de-cat pipes, custom stainless cat back to accomodate anni rear splitter (will include cats in the sale)

Suspension: AP coil overs, Neuspeed 22mm rear anti roll bar

Body: Reflex silver with very few marks. Some stone chips on the front edge of the bonnet and a small crack in the paint on the rear bumper. Genuine front and rear Anniversary spoilers. Front splitter has a few stone chips and scuffs from being low. ABS plastic Anni replica side skirts. Lupo stubbie door mirrors painted black. Front grill also painted black. Sharran rear badge with centre painted reflex silver. Lightly tinted windows all round. Also has US spec rear lights and genuine Anniversary head lights.

Wheels: 18'' Audi RS6 painted in Seat Amarillo Kiwi. Tyres are 205/40/18 so give a little cheeky stretch. 20mm adaptors up front and 25mm adaptors out back.

Interior: Heated black leather sports seats. Slight wear on the drivers bolster. Rear seats have hardly been used. I have painted the wooden trim in reflex silver. It also has an R32 gear stick also, so no more tacky wooden trim.

Has a stamped service book. I am a mechanic by trade, so have done all the work to the car (services and everytrhing else) myself. It has had 4 oil and filter changes in the time i've had it using oil. Haldex oil and filter done 5,000 miles ago. The previous owner was my boss (also a mechanic) so has been very well looked after over the years.

I have just put a years road tax on it and the MOT rund out in December.

I'm sure there is more that i may have missed out. If you need to know anything specific, just drop me a pm or text.
