Re: porsche 928 16" 5x130 with tyres

Featured Replies

having a big clearout and i've got 3 sets of 928s and no car to put them on...

up for sale are this set of 7J 928 alloys with metal centrecaps

as title, 5x130 pcd offset is 65

wheels could do with a refurb, they are straight and largely unkerbed, but the paint is flaking off them.

i originally bought these to fully polish and make up two staggered sets of 7s and 8s (i already have 4 polished 8s).

don't have the time to do this before leaving the country and i could do with the space to fill with more stuff i'm not going to use

i would say that 2 of these rims are excellent candidates for fully polishing- light scuffing to the lips and the only scratches on the faces are in the paint - nothing into the metal.

of the other two, one is good, the other has some light pitting around the edge. you might be able to polish it out but it would never be flawless.

all the rims have tyres - possibly from a 928.

2 are Marshall Power Racer II (wow - they sound fast just parked up!) 245 45 16 with about 6mm tread

2 are Dunlop SP Sport 2000 225 50 16 with about 3-4mm tread

they are probably too big to use on most VW projects but take em off and stick em on egay or burn them and get high on the scent

i'm going to sell the wheels/tyres in pairs in case like me you want a staggered set. included with each wheel is a porsche crest metal centre cap so they can also be polished to match.

£130 for the better pair

£100 for the less better pair
