power steering whirring noise

hi guys recently replaced a power steering hose as it burst :( with a high pressure hydraulic hose

new power steering fluid arrived today once it was in and all the air was out when turning it started to make a whirring noise!

was wondering if this is the pump or possibly the steering rack?
