Been quietly working on her to get it back on the road recently. MOT was at the weekend, after the conversion, sill welding, smoothed wings, bandeds on and some other little things.. here's a sneak peak. It only failed on floor pan and turret corrosion, which has already all been done so retest in the next day or so.. Looking forward to getting her running nice!

Already bought the paint for wheels which will be betting done very soon! As well as a few other interior bits.

The back is getting raised after it's back from its MOT!

Every pannel on my car is now a different shade of white.. ha! going to gradually sort out all the dings dents and scratches then in a few months do a budget repaint as I have a good friend who does pannel beating and spraying etc. Means I don't have to feel bad with it constantly having patches of primer everywhere :paranoid:

IMG_2610.jpg As you can tell it's quite far off the ground..

IMG_2614.jpg The only wheel which scrubs. nothing a hammer can't sort out.

bay.jpg Everything under the bonnet is a complete mess! literally just got it in so that it would work and then I could spend time on it after she's running proper! lots of work to do here! At least this engine actually works.. Thanks Haz123 (i think it is) off of here.

Thought that was Harry's engine. Some great work mate keep it up, I've always had a soft spot for white 6n's ;)

cfc82d31.jpg on a hill, so the front is a bit lower.. but need raise the back a little anyway. I need to take a photo of the 1inch step up into the garage which my car almost didn't make it up.. Also the voicemail that was left from Mr. MOT was quite amusing :D

Haha it's too much fun! Cheers dude :) I'll try keep this topic updated as I have many plans for this now that I've spent about 5 times what the actual car was worth in the first place. haha commit!

Haha whey! wondered when you were gonna update this ^.^

I thought it was only the head of harry's engine? Or am I being completely retarded? haha

Good work Tommy ;) looking forward to seeing it on the road and budget respray! :p

Naa whole lump! Just put my gearbox/clutch on (: and thanks (; me neither!

Ahh right safe! haha

Didnt he have it running at like 117bhp or something like that? ;)

Ooohhh did he now!? When I took it up the bypass a few times it doesn't half put you in your seat! Pretty fun (: like to think once I've sorted the bmc/stainless Mani she'll be running better as well! l (:

Edited by tommybaker

Yeah man haha, I bet ;)

And yeah should add a bit more, I'm hoping to sort mani, exhaust and bmc after I sort the wheels :)

Saweeeeet! Went through MOT yesterday, got all the welding done and he just ticked it off :) Got a friend looking at the fuel pump/maf sensor and all that shenanigans in the next few days while I'm at uni so hopefully wont have any running issues trés soon! Shall keep y'all updated (:

Still having an intermittent fault, and can't find an early AFH loom anywhere. Been looking for so long with no luck.

My mum has to move house end of month and she needs someone to help her move her things, so if I can't sort this loom, I'm going to have to break my polo for parts and get a shitty run around :(
