just lift it out with a mate, man up!

yeah man my mate was meant to get here 2 hours ago! now its pitch black hahaha! what a gay!

you got the front end off? just undo it and let it fall on the floor then roll the car out the way...hey its only the old one

Drop it out the bottom then jack the car up and pull the engine out, when ready push the old lump under and drop the car over it to refit. Do it with the gearbox on to make things a shit load easier

sweet, looks like ill be refitting it this way... cheers

You'll be surprised how far you need to jack it up to clear a whole engine on a jack

A normal trolly jack is more than capable of lifting it high enough, but if you do have issues then lay the engine back before pushing it under the car

My trolley jack doesnt even fit underneath my sump :?

So it can't be that far.

And the fronts not even that low.

lol I'm a Tig Welder and would just like to point out you can weld alloy with a mig you just need a differnt gas wire and sumtimes liner, i think tig welding gives a much better finish though based in glos if anyone wants one doing, can get the base plates laser cut through a friend

16v is in! got it started earlier briefly, but no exhaust so didnt run it much, got them in/out with a 7ft bar and some rope! the afh was fucking heavy though! only just managed!

on another note, (URGENT) with my fuel pump on, my carbs are spilling fuel out by the trumpets, there cbr600's with the 3 little inlet bits or whatever they are under where the trumpet goes? yeah its coming out of one of those on each carb... any ideas? also the throttle cam is in the middle of the carbs how the hell do you fit the throttle cable!

subzero i could do with a plate being made, how much would it set me back?

Well done man! It sounds like it's overfilling the carbs, too much pressure on the floats.

How've you set up the lines? T-Piece? If it's coming out the trumpets it's gonna be overfuelling like a bitch!

Well done on getting it running though! :)

yeah t piece, only running a facet pump though so not much pressure, nah not out of the trumpets, its coming out of the little brass bits below, must be some sorta overflow? i thought all the fuel would go straight up the return when engines off :S maybe i should block them off somehow.

cheers man! only ran it breifly to see if itd go! as it had no exhaust and no coolant haha

u running a pressure regulator?

Don't think you need a reg with a t-piece olly. I wouldn't block them off because there is obviously a problem and blocking them will just move the problem to some where else, best to sort the problem out properly first time mate
