Grooved brake disc noise?

Basically last year fitted new brakes discs on the front from EBC compromising of 'Turbo Groove' discs with Greenstuff pads. The performance of the brakes are great however due more recently to the nice weather when cruising along with the windows down you can hear a noise emanating from what I presume are the brakes, it's like a 'shush-shush-shush' noise as the wheels rotate and can be heard on both sides. After doing a bit of research and taking a closer look at the brakes (and finding nothing out of the ordinary) I'm wondering if this is simply the noise of grooved discs as I've never had them before?

I’ve just put EBC GD558 discs on the rear with Red stuff pads. These are same size as original, but grooved and dimpled.

I’ve never had dimpled before and there is a ‘shush-shush-shush’ noise as the wheels rotate. I can’t find anything touching that shouldn’t be. I think maybe it’s the edge of the pad passing the grooves and dimples.

I had this - turns out it is air being compressed as the groove passes under the pad.

Sounded like spokey-dokeys on a bike, and seemed to get twice as fast (ie. 2x as many/sec) when I applied the brakes.

Goes after a little time/wear.

I did a track day, and it had gone by the end of it - no spokey-dokey noice now.

It is a standard thing, and will go - worry not.

Found lots of others just claiming that the sound will remain and is simply due to the grooves in the discs.

I was just wondering if anyone had ever heard of/experienced anything like this before. It can only be heard when the window is down and knowing British weather that's not that often however I just want to make sure the brakes are ok.
