Luckily the sort of folk that find this fun would be bored shitless at action

hum, by the looks of those vids of a small group of stupid northern monkeys, I'm quite glad I didnt go to E38. People like that make me hate going to car shows - its why I stopped going to French Car Show when I had my 205.

Got fed up of a small minority of cocks spoiling it by generally acting like total pissheads.

This kind of stuff realy makes me laugh. I'm realy carful as to wich car shows I go to. When i use to go to JapFest at castle coombe you get shit just for being there. Being ''alternative'' and i do use this term loosly, I got shit for having a foot and a half long mohawk and that Japanese cars were not for people ''like me''. Fucking put one dickhead to shame in a EK Civic type R in my 1.1 Metro =D. At some of these shows there's no feeling of togeherness just testosterone competitivness and alot of ''your car is shit''. Anywho I digress. I could go on all ay giving my opinion on car park junkes with a shed load of shopping lists all over their dust carts. I'm going to shut up now before I annoy somone, that's if i already have.

Yep!

if i were that security guard i would have pulled him from the car and beat ten bells of shit out of him for what he did, I have no time for pricks like that, I was gonna go to edition and I'm fucking glad I didn't.

i camped right were this happened, and were the REVVV ITTT started. And it was all a small joke to start with, people drunk and sitting watching people cruise round. then a few started making people just rev there engines and then the wheel spining started. then more people kept doing it and loads of people came over. Then the guy in the audi just driving through decided to join in aswell but everyone shouted not too.

Unlucky he was, wrong place and wrong time really, just joined in and got done for it. The Mk3 polo in the background was doing it too, was just some laughts that got out of hand.

further up from us a bunch if German guys were doing it an hour or soo before and were enjoying it. they had no hassle from anyone.

And i love how everyone bashesthe E38 show. I didnt see one bad thing, Well part from some small bald dick trying to start a fight everywere it was sound. Good times and laughs with a brill show. I only hear about all the bad stuff one i go on the internet, Every were you get Dicks, cant help it..

ohh well.

And now I remember why I haven't been to Edition for 2 years and won't go back there again unless some aspects of it radically change.

It seems like things go a bit beyond a laugh all to often. Then add into the mix stolen centre caps, not enough facilities for an ever growing show, which results in the toilets overflowing with shit, leading to people deficating in the showers and some of the undesirables that end up at the show looking to cause trouble and it goes from what was a great show into something rather off-putting.

TBH i think the security guard was a bit out of order grabbing his keys like that, I know for a fact that they have limited power to do things like this and infact no power to actually remove someones keys from their car, even if they are breaking the rules!!

on the other hand, I cant stand stupid shit like that, but it happens everywhere, it happens at E38, poloshow and I'm sure at others too, I prefer one day shows as people tend not to be drunk!! drink + cars = bad happenings!!!!

I've heard alot of bad things about the E38 show this year, from people that were there and I'm glad I didnt go but the problem is with the planning, the show is getting bigger and bigger and until they adapt it will only get worse.

Have heard even worse things about the show and shine judging so wont even get into that lol

Oohh this sounds interesting Sean, spill the beanz :unibrow:

Whether the guard was in the right or wrong looking at that video some thing had to be done. It's not like its just one lad doing a bit of a spin randomly on a field, there was shit loads of people all very close to it and plenty of parked cards too, it would of only of taken one dipshit to loose control and some one could of gotten badly fucked up. Imagine what the shows insurance costs would of been like next year if a bad accident had of happened while they were doing that

Taken from edition

...IF ANYONE IS PLANNING ON GOING ON THE STAGE, PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO WHEELSPINS, NO EXCESSIVE REVVING OF ENGINES, OR HEAVY BRAKING.

Do not drink and drive on site (obviously).

Please drive sensibly on site at all times, as there will be people walking around at all times...

Looks like they were breaking pretty much every rule about driving on the site. Tbh

I feel sorry for the security people on the site due to not having enough power. Granted their not the police but the clue is in their job title. Security, they are there to secure the area and make it safe. I do agree with the above comment that the security gaurd should of pulled the dip shit out of the car, chucked him in a cell and got the police to breathelise him. In my opinion they need more power to protect people against idiots like this and the like. Idealy it should of been nipped in the bud alot earlyer before this incident happend but it may have started off as somthing a little more managable and then got out of hand. However, i do think that the people should of taken it amongst them selves to have gone ''look guys lets chill it down a bit''. If an accident had happend E38 might not ever happnd again.

Why I Man!

I went again this year. Had a really good time. Good atmosphere, chilled out. Had a shower, no problem and generally felt that the antics of a couple of years ago were gone.

Yes a minority got a bit rowdy and the result is one man had to buy a new key. Pretty minor compared with a mk3 polo on it's roof and gas-cylinder missiles on fires as seen a few years before.

People will always point the finger and slag.

I'm glad i went.

And that is what i call a fair comment.
