Yeah that smoothed one isn't the greatest, the bumper doesn't seem to fit at all!

That other one looks pretty good though, more what I had in mind except smaller tyres, more lows and more stance!!

And as Renegade said, they're very cheap to buy and cheap to insure too! I've gone way off the idea though, mainly because of the interior... It looks awful and since that's where I'm gonna be sitting, I'd want it to be nice.

Hey all i used to have one of these as i said earlier in the post. i have a couple of pics to see what you guys thought..

All i did to mine was lower it, put some 18's on it full leather. and changed the front bumper.

But then i had a wee little bump in it and ended up like this.

I dont mind Fiat's in general, the Stilo is a pretty nice car standard. But I'm afraid its VW all the way!

I couldn't see myself moving away from vw's for a while, I do like them.

I'm currently in love with the new Punto Evo Sporting. I just couldn't justify paying £14,000 for a Punto, even if I had the money.

youhave to remember its a fiat, they still use older technologies where other manufactures have better newer stuff. my neighbour has a punto, god awful things, i used to have to do something to it every other week. done my head in, wouldn't buy a fiat and I'm not too keen on the f1 car with fiat wriiten on the front of it.

14K could buy you so much more than a fiat or a renault

I'd buy several awesome old cars with it instead lol.

We've got a Fiat Ducato 2.8 diesel on a 02 plate, got it for £700.

So far we have had/need to replace the following:

battery

cigarette lighter

speedo

exhaust

side door handle

clutch or possibly gear box.

It was cheap to buy and insure but it doesnt offer that much MPG and with a never ending list of fixes I wish we'd just saved more and bought a transporter.

There was a red stilo near me that looked brilliant, a small accident in the winter saw it battered and written off, similar to the one above.

it's a 9 year old van ffs!!

vans don't get treated the same as cars they are usually abused, overloaded etc hence don't last as long.

a vw transporter at that age would have the same faults unless its been looked after.

Its ex NHS hence the price. Was fully maintained and serviced by the garage next to where I work. It also has a tail lift in it which has also been serviced every year.

It had a new full Fiat exhaust on it 2 years ago - and already part of it needs replacing.
