Ordered a new Intercooler Kit from MX5Dan on MX5 Nutz. I ordered the Medium Size Intercooler

Went to a Pistonheads Rolling Road day today at Clive Atthowe Tuning in Norwich

Just about got on the rollers,even with the bumper off!

She made 181bhp at the Fly and 158lbft. Very very happy!

Went to do some photo whoring this afternoon. I photographed my mates cars first,and nearly ran outta day light when it came to mine,hence the dark-ish photos.

The MX5 passed the MOT today,so another 12 months of motoring on its way!

Treated myself to a GoPro Hero 3 a few weeks ago. Only just got round to buying a new memory card and have a mess about.

My Mocal 13 row Oil Cooler,Thermostatic Sandwich Plate and Braided lines arrived today:

Will be starting on the re-wiring of the centre console in just over a week's time,so hopefully that'll be done soon :)

Ordered a new Number Plate bracket from Jass Performance because the old wonky one was doing my head in!

While i was out and about i tested out the new GoPro and caught this image :)

You may remember me cutting my dashboard about and the Custom Centre Console i had made up. Me and a friend finally got round to fitting/wiring it!

Still need to tidy up a couple of things but its almost done. As you can see we pulled the carpet out while we were there too :)

Tuesday evening i dropped the car off at Meridian Automotive in Norwich to have a full Vortex 2.5" Stainless Exhaust made.

Aha just realized you've got an mx5 after i replied on my thread lol. Love this, its how i want mine to sit. What coilovers you running mate? I've heard you can run MK2's with MK2 top mounts? Also someone told me that the MK2 wing mirrors fit, is this right? Cheers

I'm running TA Technix (aka Ebay Cheapies) they're bouncy but got me the lows i wanted :) That is correct you can fit Mk2 coilovers using Mk2 top mounts :)

Not sure on the wing mirrors though

Fitted the new HSDs today and sure wasnt gonna let the Snow stop me, suprisingly didnt take long at all. The longest part was making sure they all sat level

Took the car out to help bed the coilovers in on Maximum Soft. Found out i cant even park up a curb :( Thats the scrape marks you can see. Raised the rears 10mm and theres more clearance now,hopefully enough to have it driveable again :)

Took the car to have a full geometry set up. I used the settings posted on Roadster Drift as a guide,except i left the front and rear camber.

Didnt realise how much rear camber i have! This will soon be changed when i get my Wide Arches

Went to Norfolk Arena for the monthly drift practice. First time skidding properly since the car has been turbo'd. The day started off sodding wet with a very muddy track. Didnt take long to get back into the swing of things

The sun came out,track dried out and i was improving alot! First time i had linked the track several times,things were going well!

Until....

I spun out on the Kidney,facing the opposite way. BMW comes round the corner,luckily spotting i had spun so he slows down and straightens up. THEN he decides to clutch kick and hit me :/

The car wasnt running right,found out that the Throttle Position Sensor had lost both its screws and air was getting in. Borrowed a screw from something else and it cured it. I rejoined the que and carried on skidding till 5pm,then it was home time

Wasnt a bad day in the end,could have been worse. Could have been a rear 1/4

Bits are replaceable, My mates just split a 2 MX5's so shout me if you need parts pretty sure he'll help you out
