It appears you have missed going up the jump ramp. Points will be deducted!

Seriously, looks really nice now, I have no idea why you would want shiny show wheels on it, it looks awesome as it is.

Who says I missed the jump! :-D

I got a better p/x deal than I'd have got trying to sell privately! Then on top I negotiated over £1k off the asking price too. 8-)

its a shame you are getting rid, this is one of my favourite polo's. but I'm sure you will make the R epic and hopefully you will stick around here to show us the exploits.

just a quick question, the tarox brakes are just anodised red right?

Holy crap I just love your Polo! Got a candywhite GTi myself and I absolutely love it!

Gotta ask though, how is the gearbox keeping up?

He has now sold this and has a Mk6 Golf R, don't think he comes on here anymore.

I do from time to time Dazza 8-)

The MKVI Golf R is currently at 379bhp/360lbft

Milltek TBE, Evoms intake, Autotech hpfp, Bilstein B16 PSS10's, H&R front and rear arbs, WALK, THS engine mounts, full Powerflex poly bushes, Whiteline heavy duty droplinks, Team Dynamics 8x18 pro race 1.2 alloys in Gloss black, front and rear gloss black VW badges, TIDStyling carbon paddleshifters, GIAC stage 3 DSG mapping and GIAC stage 2+ engine map.

Ordered Lamborghini 8 pot calipers with Loba 2 piece 362mm discs, Uprated master cylinder and braided lines.

Fitting the Devils own Water meth kit this month. Should take the car over 400bhp

February/March time the car will have the Loba BT fitted and supporting kit for over 500bhp.

Should be fun. :-)

A quick pic of how it looks now...

Nice and low.....

holy shit.

can i have your money please?

Well done sir you have gone in the right direction

Bleh, so jealous. :( I'm gonna start saving I think, I want something faster.

Either charged or 6 cylinders. R32 is looking favourite though.

This must be silly fast though, traction issues?

No traction issues what so ever. The tyres are 235 section and I forgot to mention I also have the HPA Haldex race controller and so the car automatically puts 50% power to the rear as soon as I apply more than 30% throttle.

0-60 in 3.8 seconds almost every time using launch control.

0-100 in just over 9 seconds too.

Last 1/4 mile at Santa Pod was 12.6 seconds and that was before I had all the suspension, alloys, tyres and torque de-limited. The car is now easily low 12's.

Oh, don't get a Golf R32, they are underpowered for their weight and a mapped MKV GTI will run rings around one and return a better mpg with lower running costs to boot. The only positives they have is that they are dropping in price due to fuel/tax costs, AWD traction and have a great sounding engine.

Where do you work to get all this money? Get me a job! :D

The Golf R has had a few upgrades recently and is currently running 392bhp and well over 400lbft.

In the next month or so it should have more power with a turbo upgrade. 8-)
