picking up these badboys on wednesday there 14x6 et 28 so a pretty good fitment for the loon really guna be sanded right back and redone red i think with some funky "bolts" as yep there are fake splits but as I'm not the secret millionaire they will have to do :p

got creative with my fly eyes and did myself some half smoked rears enjoy

mines 80 60 with lowering top caps up front so id say about 90/60 its so hard to get these looking low.

ino what you mean about the orange but you cant tell unless you are up close so it wont bother me for now

yeah I've noticed its hard to get them low coilys are a fortune arnt they I'm gettin the top mounts aswell :)

yeah the coilies are stupid money thats why I've just brought a mk2 golf gti easy to slam and will get me about while the polo goes in storage

unfortunatly the oppurtunity has never arisen erm ivce used halfords before :s but used various rattle cans for allsorts

Looking good mate. Have you done yourwheels yet? I got some old alloys for my last.car and got advised to use nitromores to get the paint off as sand paper has a good chance of pitting the alloys. Not got round to doing it yet as not had the space to crack on with them but deff on my to do list.

Like that this is as an alternative to the Mk1 caddy. I've just got rid of a mk2 caddy and even though they are nothing like a Mk1 had great fun with it.

What spring kit have you gone for? Got mine off thebay.

Iya bud jus bout put a load of test fit pictures up from today jus got a qoute for chemical strip shot blast and powder coat 30 quid a wheel not bad really so as soon as i get payed there going but for now some pics :)

Test fitted my wheels today there super flush at the front but the rears will need spacing a few mm and still waiting for my 80/60 shocks and springs but apart from today it was a narrow breeze block and bubblewrap sucess heres a loada pics again had a play with the funky retro cam app :) the wheels are off a mk1 golf not lensos or anything like that not sure on a brand or anything but fyi 14x6 et 26

They look sweet. Couldn't bring myself to pay 30quid per wheel to refurb when I only paid 50quid for the full set! Ha!

Yeah know what you mean. Mine are BMW bottle tops. Only coz coz I got them for my pickup and never got round to fit them. Ha! Still got my hub caps on the steels atm. Looks nice tbh. Like stock but dropped! =)

Still not too sure how they'll look on thought.

if you wand somthin real cool i saw a loon in pvw a while back with the back lights chopped i.e the fogs and reverse chopped off to shorten the light its looks so good dont no whats involved but it looks sick

think I've seen something similaie suppose it would look more like an early derby then cool idea just dont know weather it would be worth the hassle

ordered some red plastidip to test what colour I'm going to go for on the wheels if you havnt heard of plastidip av a butchers on google/youtube looks interesting to say the least

I personally would of polished then paint as you dont want to have to worry about catching that paint :-)

ahh too little too late indeed i have just discovered that yes i need to polish them first but luckily the plastidip paint jus peels straight off :) il demonstrate with pics later any advice on gettin into the groove between dish and centre to sand and polish its a right bugger or do i just persevere
