All the usual BMW refinements with the following Alpina parts from the factory:

• 2.5L 220bhp engine was rolling roaded a year or so ago at 216bhp so still perfectly healthy

• Alpina re mapped ecu.

• Stainless Alpina exhaust system with modified manifold, ( has the Alpina plate and chassis number stamped on it).

• Suspension changed to Alpina spec (except for those cars already fitted with motorsport suspension).

• Front bumper Alpina chin spoiler

• Rear boot spoiler.

• Original aluminium Alpina badging on boot and Alpina ID plate on dashboard.

Has the optional extra: full on board computer, under bonnet light, M3 rear bumper, sunroof and rear diffuser.

New:

• Koni shock absorbers all round

• 2 rear medium range tyres (barum continentals weeks old).

• Rear suspension bushes

• Thermostat

• Radiator

• K&N air filter

Good bits:

• Rare car which is mechanically sound

• Engines is a good one and sounds lovely

• Drives very nicely and turns head

• Paint work is still nice and shiny.

• Have some history on the car confirmed by Syther dealership with who built it etc.

• Complete original BMW tool kit, first aid kit, warning triangle, floor mats

• Locking wheel nuts fitted

• 17" Alpina style wheels all in good condition, spares the standard 15" alloy with new tyre.

• AC SCNITZER pedal kit

• “Silver grey” leather sports interior in generally good condition just needs a clean,

• Genuine front bumper chin spoiler is included (removed at present as it needs repainted and the shape corrected with a heat gun).

• Tracker fitted needs reactivated (pay the monthly fee or can ignore it and pay nothing) and toad Alarm immobiliser

Bad bits:

• OSR wheel arch starting to rust where it meets the rear bumper, will need rubbed down and filled or tiny bit of welding depending on how mint you want her.

• NSR wheel arch starting to bubble where it meets the rear bumper but still solid

• OSF wheel arch starting to bubble at the bottom surface only

• NSF wing small bit of lacquer peel to top of wing about size of a 50p

• Exhaust blowing slightly at downpipe - needs taken off cleaned and re sealed.

• Front bumper needs re sprayed

• Boot lower inner lip starting to bubble will need rubbed down and repainted

• Drivers’ side bolster got a hole in the usual place (leg bolster at the door).

• Rear brake disk pads will need replaced in the next 1000 miles (wee wear indicator on on the dash)

• No radio headunit (don’t need one the engines the only soundtrack you need) but wires and speakers all there ready to accept a new unit. Rear speakers are Sony 6x9s with the correct adaptors to fit the BMW housing.

The above makes it sound worse than it is but just being completely honest so you know what to expect. It will make a nice straight forward winter project for someone, as it’s a good genuine honest car which needs some TLC, but I have too many other projects so 1 has to go and its not going to be my G40.
