I don't get why people don't slow down onto that roundabout. There is pedestrian crossing just before each exit of the roundabout so you kinda need to slow down anyway. But yeah he did get what he deserved :)

Yep, there's definitely some idiot drivers around in Sheffield. My car tends to attract just about every nutter in a Vauxhall, Citroen or Renault.

I had a great run in with oner of these knobs a few months back. He'd been sat right up the back of me in my old transit doing the speed limit. We got to a roundabout, it was clear of traffic, but greasy from the rain, so I didn't particularly drop much speed and crossed the roundabout.

I think he was rather suprised to find that I can put my RWD van across a slippery roundabout quickly, and without sliding it, a lot better than the average barry boy in a clio can do the same.

Once when I was driving back from my mates house late at night in my mk1 golf, typically expecting police attention because of the time and my car so I was driving sensibly. I went straight over a crossroads where a chavved up 206 was waiting on the side road. The lights changed and he came flying up behind me and sat right on my arse, shining his stupid HIDs in my face, quickly followed by another car up his arse. Then all of a sudden, blue strobe lights through the grille of the car at the back! Unmarked police had obviously seen what had just happened and pulled the idiot over! I've never had such a warm feeling inside as when I saw those two cars slowed down to a stop in my rear view mirror I laughed all the way home!

Our glorious boys in blue, they do a grand job.

They tend to do a grand job of pissing me off Which is why it was nice for them to do something which benefitted me for a change!

tbh wasn't really that chaved up, it was a mk4, big black multi spoke alloyes, think it was standard height, blacked out windows and different headlights.

It was at hunters bar roundabout at the top of ecclesall road if you no where that is.

Sounds pretty chavvy to me Huge wheels at standard height with tinted windows and probably angel eye headlights

Had one tonight, sitting right up my arse in the passat in a Saxo, got slightly pissed off when he found out that his 1l was a bit slower than a 1.8 and tried to overtake while i was accelerating away, his engine was screaming I thought fuck this and slowed down, up coming bend he lost it and ended up in the ditch. Pulled up and before i was half out the guy in the car behind got out and had a right go at him and ripped him out ofvia the passenger side and arrested him, turned out the guy was a copper going on duty.

Police just been to check our car as he said I pushed him to lose control. funny thing is no damage on mine and he was 30 yds away when he lost it. Copper said not to worry as the statement from the officer in the car behind matches with the one me and my passengers made.

Obviously the guy didnt know about the tendency for Saxo's to randomly try and end up facing the other way for no reason.
