You know it's only a matter of time before you switch to the dark side

Like This!!! 8v ftw!

I was also watching this and supprised there wasn't a buyer out there willing to dish out a bit more than what it got too. Glad your keeping it anyway ! Are you going to join the 16v carb crew or stick with the EFI?

We'll see how the 8vs compare to the valvers up the pod or at the rr day yeah?

eventually it will be on bike carbs but not straight away, this 8v setup is insanely quick, but fancy a change.

I had a fair few offers on eBay but no one actually came and coughed up the money all talk.

hopefully have this project on the go very soon :)

Why? :(

works gone dead, just been and checked the car and it's taxed till feb I was worried about not being able to afford to retax it so may wait untill new year and start the project again :)

True story, dont get rid.

Looks sick, besides the frontal poke.

Last trip to the pod the early Valvers were in a different league to the 8v's

brought a loon with the conversion already done just gotta swap them over now. let the fun commence :)

this car is a beaut!!!

We were looking around that loon at vw action, the styling was shocking but the engine conversion looked well done. Have you got any idea how he wired the engine loom into the car? I'm running standard injection too but I've pikeyed mine by fitting a separate fuse box to run the engine, just wondering if he had done the same or wired it in to the cars original fuse box?
