I have just bought some recaro seats originally from a rover turbo.

I will be mounting them in a mk3 polo gt. I just dont know how to go about it. I have no tools pretty much no welder all at home 6hours away (live at uni)

I was thinking either to buy some universal seat runners and get them welded into the floor and mount the seats on them.

Or get the old seats hacked apart and get somebody to weld up some new frames using the old mounting style.

BTW the new seats have no runners with them just some plates welded to the bottom of them

Thanks also if anybody is willing to lend me a hand with them I'm in plymouth
