Engine and interior loom came out Sunday/Monday

*NOTE: That is not my foot.

Found a nice hole in the Mk4 engine bay

and then heg123 took the rest of the car away to tidy up his rally car.

So now all the loom is out I'm going to tidy my living room floor before laying out all the wiring and start chopping unessential bits.

Nice work. Another hole in the inner wing on the drivers side haha

Not the best example of a MK4.

I've never seen such a rottern Polo lol.

I need the bits the engine and gearbox mounts bolt to as mine are battered to cut these off quickly but will unstitch the parts off the chassie legs when i have more time.

Aha, some pictures of the brakes. I do indeed have mine upside down :retard: What problems are you having with the hand brake then? I see you've chopped out the old mech to make room for a newer type one. With the brakes upsdie down, they seem to be the right length. I'm hoping the same will be true with them the correct way up

Have you tried fitting your handbrake yet? Take a look at where it runs and then where you need to put your adaptor. I've just found my adaptor fouls the rear beam :-(

spray your inlet manifold blue to match the box!!!

Not yet, its on the back burner as i have not got either the later type parts or the Mk4 cables. So all in all i have moved to do jobs on the front end as i will have to take of the rear callipers off again to raise the suspension. Brakes will probably be the last thing i get up to except the copper brake lines in the next couple of weeks. Engine bay is the place of work right now.

I'm not gonna lie, i was hoping you would keep ahead of me and solve the problems!

I have not tarted the engine up yet, but the blue will make appearances :-)

Well I can't seem to get my 36s to fit, as if i mount them the same as you, the handbrake adaptors will foul the beam as I've said above. I'm thinking I may have to keep them the same as I have them, and alter the flexi hose some way. I thought i may get away with swapping the stub axles over, but since the bolts have a pattern, this just results in the calipers being backward. May have to try and find some alloy ones, they seem to fit
