My front suspension is 60mm Weitec shock/springs plus 10mm lowering caps.

I suspect the same, must of drove like a crab.

Its the stiffness you need to be concerned with. Weitec are middle of the road in budget right, so I'm guessing pretty stiff? I'm sure it'll be more than capable on the road. Looking forward to getting mine around the twisties with tht -60 KW kit. There are some good thread on club g40 that may be worth a look regarding the stage2/3 debate.
