Quite a rare 'un! Like the colour, might have stuck with the orange indi lenses though. And ditch the eyebrow.

More pics of the whole thing please :-)

will put up more of the whole thing when its back on the road and has been through a good clean. might try need get some pics of it cruising around some of my favorite roads too

started preping the new engine for painting today as it turned up in four different colours :-o bit gay not gonna lie

got new bolts today cost 22 quid now I'm gonna get shit done

started the new boot build. haven't actually finished the engine yet but fancied a change pics to come

got the engine bay empty finally after weeks. the gearbox is on the new engine and the engine is half painted. just got to finsh painting the engine paint all the bits that need doin. and clean and paint the bay. il put some pic of stuff later

i managed to sand and paint the engine bay yesterday. in only two and a half hours. Not to bad i think. engine had its last coat of paint too so a few bits then its going back in the car. a few weeks and this should actually be movin again woooooooooooo

I got the engine in now. looks amazing only one thing stopping me now and thats waiting for the thermostat housing to turn up. heres my latest pics. i decided that the cam cover and anti roll bars should be orange and they look so good.

i did clean it and sprayed it matt black. gonna spray the bits that are orange again with some more orange

i thought it would a bit over the top wanted to make the actual engine stand out from the rest of the bay thats why the bay is black

engine would stand out more with fresh orange paint in the background imo...

but its a nice car you have here :-)

got it running today this is a video of the exhaust. if you get it up on a computer rather than a phone you can see a little flame lol. sounds lush too

a update of my last couple of weeks work. been concentrating on the interior because i fancied a change. ended up resparying the rear arches. got some pics of my work.

its like a fleece kind of material. got it from my local market

Seems to have given a good finish. I've just ordered some tweed for mine, at £45 a meter :cry:

after a few months iv got my motivation back and I'm starting to crack on with this again. another new engine is going in because i had massive electrical and cooling problems and it blew the engine fully anlo doing some welding taking all the plastic arch and sill covers off to make sure its rot free
