I found a very good russian etka online that had all the old obsolete part numbers even back to mk1 stuff. Had to run it through google translator but it was very useful when I was hunting for badges for my mk2.

It's been down for a long time now, the link is 3 years old ! but you can try www.vagcat.com you need to register first to use it, but it's free to do that :)

I'm using this one a lot lately, as it seems to include very recent cars, and has pricing info as well.
