the volkswagen polo has got 110 thousand miles on the clocks with full service history. it has had a new gear box at 108 thousand. paid £1800 for the car which i am happy about car is in mint inside out side has a few dings and dents but nothing major. cant wait to start modifying it

Model: volkswagen polo 6n2 gti

Engine: 1.6 16v

Suspension: standard (want to get some aps)

Brakes: standard (may get some drilled and grooved disks)

Wheels and Tyres: standard bbs splits got some ats cups to go on once its lowered

Interior Styling: alpine head unit with ipod docking station

ICE and Security: uprated door speakers and rear speakers plus sub

not much has changed as i am saving up for some ap's.

i have managed to change the side lights to LED's and silva tec indicator bulbs, and put some yellow fog light bulbs in ( cant really see there yellow from the pictures)

finnaly got enough money to buy some AP coilovers, me and my mate fitted them on saturday. and i had my ATS cups on standby and they went on at the same time as the coilovers.

then on the sunday had a local photo shoot with some friends heres a couple of my favourite photos.

you come to reading cruise dont you dude saw it last sunday i had the red caddy van see you down next cruise :)

not much has happened with the polo cleaned out the throttle body as dont think it had ever been cleaned in its life. also spent all of last saturday claying and cleaning. never seen the GTI looking so fresh

looking to get some new wheels just not to sure what ... hmm

thinking of things to do that haven't really been done or that i really want to do to make a change

went to a local show near me today called wheels day got a few pictures of the GTI

and the best car there in my opinion

Split my standard Polo GTI wheels ready for me to refurb and paint them

nice car man , pretty sure i saw it at UD..

was it hard to split the gti wheels? might do mine soon.. break any bolts ? and whats the tool called for the bolts, looks similar to a torx socket ... but not! cheers :)

i was UD but my car wasent unfortunatly

yeah its called a spline tool, m8 spline to be precise. no just gave each bolt a spray with some WD40 and was gently when undoing the bolts

just got a picture from a local meet down in Reading

been busy splitting my BBS wheels they all sprayed up with a black lip and blue centre was the first tiem id split wheels .. just glad there arnt that many bolts on rs772's

got some tyres on the BBS today heres what they look like on the polo

and cant wait to be able to put these little gems on

just need to clean the ATS cups up so they can be sold (get in touch if you'd like more info)

That blue is different ! but not my cupa tea. Really looking forward to seeing a pic with those teledials on though. One of my favs and looks like a mint set! Was thinking about swapping the cups on my GTI but thinking about going for 100% polished finish instead now.

yeah i get that alot with what i do with my wheels. such as my multi coloured wheels on my previous 6n. and they should be on soon :D:D:D:D:D

are these porshe wheels are louis's old wheels ?? did you got them in reading

i believe you are correct ... he used to have them on a blue 6n2 ?

Finally managed to get the time to put the Porsche wheels on

They are 7j all round with staggered fitment so put 25mm spacers on the front and 20 mm spacers on the rear. Took it for a drive and was rubbing a bit over bumps in the road so busted out the arch roller tool and put it to good use. Rolled the lip on rear arches. Now sits fine without any rubbing

my safe parking because kurbs are the enemy

a couple of my mates and i took a trip to london and stopped off at ace cafe and "bansky's tunnel" (not sure of its real name just what we call it)

think its pretty much done now only some minor touches but really happy with how they look [=

Yeah I was at there meet on Sunday for a bit but didn't have the Porsche wheel on as I got a puncture :( you going gti inters with them ?

Yeah should be... You fancy selling the bbs...

I would maybe consider a swap just because I need a set of wheels for daily driving/winter wheels

Haha well I only got standard sport radar wheels :L loan them to me :)
