Hi guys,

The heat shield on my mk3 has fallen off because the bracket/pin that seems to hold it up has corroded. It doesn't seem like we can re-use these brackets.

Just wondered if anyone has found a fix for this issue?

Would it better to get some new brackets and fit them from above like original?

Or does anyone know a way of engineering some new brackets/nuts/pins?

Any info would me much appreciated.
