It's funny how much people go on about how much they're "doing it for themselves" then as soon as anyone doesn't like what they've done they snap and brand them a hater. I hate the "I'm doing it to be different, no point following the crowd" line, there's ways of not following the crowd without trying so hard to stand out that it ends up looking, (disclaimer: IMO) crap.

All he said is that them colours, on wheels too, are done a lot. And just because it's different doesn't mean it's going to look good in everyone's eyes. Part of modifying has to include taking criticism well.

Creativity isn't just having multicoloured wheels and a skull made from electrical tape, take your time man, look around for ideas :)

i'd like to think i take critisism well but there's critisism and just being rude. as for the trying too hard.. i'm guessing that would be the case of everyone who does something that doesnt follow the lines of "normal" modding... cheers for your comments tho

I'm more than happy with it thank you. I have a bright personality i'm just putting that into visual effect not to be "different" but because it's a look i like. considering it's my car i'm sure i'm quite ok to do that :)

and skull and cross bones coming off when i either spray the roof gloss black or vinyl wrap the roof so will be calmer then but wheels 100% staying bright

can't see the comments in the thread while i'm at work :( seen its a red polo that's modded tho haha

as for being unique i'm not trying to break the mould or be totally different just modding how i like it :) which i think anyone who mods their cars does anyway mine is just a little less subtle :)
