So sump smashers meet was on the weekend, thought I would show my face properly this year and go to as many meets and shows I can :)

Well spent Saturday cleaning the car then Sunday polishing her;

Really nice. Get some spacers out back to fill those arches and this will be awesome. Wish I could mod mine, but one project is enough

I have 30mm spacers on the rear and have since the wheels have been on the car.. 25mm on the front...

So it's still for sale on a few sites and forums, had a little intrest but doesn't look like its going anytime soon so I'm prepping it for the club polo show and a few more in the near future..

Plans are; Full VW service, more lows and creating a more comfy ride, refurb alloys, paint detail and change the cracked arial base..

And the current project before my next car comes;

A close friends 6n2, done most of the work to it to this current day and hopefully will be as clean as the 9n with mixed idea's but we are bringing some 1991 spec wheels into the 2013's scene...

always a shame to read this, i went through the whole project thread, and this post saddened me the most, IMO a car should be someones pride and joy if they are enthusiastic about it, no matter the condition, its a damnsite better condition that any car I've owned, and to read you dont care about it and calling it a shed is such a pity.

Appreciate it, She had its time and I got annoyed with it for breaking, i had the use out of it and it looked good when it did, Still kinda wish i did it to a cheaper car but it was my first car so...

She has been broken for parts, Sold all separately and traded the car in for a newer faster but something that's not a Volkswagen.

But i shall keep a post on here of it is i play with her.

how did you get the centre console out? was it hard?

Car looks great mate, so did you wrap your bump strips, and handles or have them sprayed?

And if you wrapped them what stuff did you use?
