Thank you :] 3 years of hard work and decision making :p it started off life as a bog standard, pov spec, polo fox!!! Three years, a respray, wheels and loads of little bits later this is what I have haha! It's not finished though - there's a whole new plan for it when I get the engine I want in there :p

Actually the whole issue had features of girl modify-ers :]

So I'm pretty sure they featured it because they liked it over a lot of other girls cars?

Oh and the fact that they were interested in it when they saw it at Harlow Cruise, before they knew it was a girl owned it ;] so suck on that!!!

It's had the rear arches cut, rolled and flared, swage lines put back in, full respray in tornado red, clear indies and repeaters, tinted rear windows with stickers, rare wheels, 85/70 springs, -10mm top mounts, -1.5 camber on the rear to fit the offset of the wheels, decat exhaust, do I need to go into the interior? Rear seats removed, false floor with removeable piece for spare wheel [yep I kept it] a box behind each suspension turret, one houses a 10inch JL sub, the other is full of cleaning stuff, amp under the passenger seat, two 6x9s built into the floor where it meets the lower level, height adjustable scirocco gt2 seats, custom gear knob, custom exhaust tail pipe...

Would this car of got a four page spread if it was owned by a lad? Would I of had my fat ass on show in every pic if my car was featured? Your point of it being a feature on girl modifers would hold more water if the pics focused on the car and what a girl had achived rather than turning it into nothing more than another girl drapped all over a car photoshoot. It's a shame that even in this day an age mainstream publications have to cheapen this sort of subject by turning it sexual rather than just doing a decent feature concentrating on the car and showing that girls can do just as good as lads

Gotta go with it tbh, I didn't expect that many photo's with me in them though as there were only a few taken with me in [it was like 2 degrees out when shot so I kept hiding in the boyfs jeep lol]

There WERE pictures taken that I was a bit like... well that's a bit sexy... but I made a point of wearing trainers and just what I'd usually wear in summer [winter clothes SUCK!], one of the other girls wore stilettoes [?] which was a bit playing on the girl stereotype IMO.

I do agree a bit though - I'd have been just as happy to just have the car and not me, but if you read fast car they do ALWAYS put the owner in the shots [usually]. A car is an extension of your personality ent it? :]

Haha in that case he should have been able to tell the difference between a standard 86c and a simple lowered one :p

And at the end of the day - there AREN'T many girl modders out there, they had to choose from the girls as it was a girls issue, so maybe a lad with that car wouldn't be in there - BUT if the 'scene' was girl based and there weren't as many lads, and there was a lads issue I'm sure the same thing would have happened wouldn't it?

Y don't u actually go out and buy the mag? And help spread the word of her car? And yes she is hot but do u think anyone would buy a mag if it had loads of fat ugly blokes next to their cars? And as she said there are girls wearing much less than her in their pics like the girl with the starlet. Just give up and appreciate that she's done a very good job with her car and most people like it
