Rclick central locking kit purchased. How do you know if my Polo has a pollen filter?
It will be in the top right hand corner as you're looking into the engine under a large plastic cover that goes across the car.

Cheers mate!

Got central locking fitted. Here is a quick video of it's operation and how the wiring was routed:

My pedal box went about a month or so ago! clutch pedal just snapped off completely! sucked ass! cars looking nice though mate, keep it up :D

Mines isn't quite as bad as that, it springs back a little tad but it's fucked lol. Cheers mate! Still got a lot to go, tight budget though as i'm a student :(.

yeh mine pretty much looked like that too haha, i know what you mean man, i finished college a year ago and I'm a self employed photographer so works here and there but it bobs along hahah

Gonna be such a hassle! Pretty shit being a student tbh. I'm trying to get a job to fund the car but it's proving to be pretty tough.

Managed to get a weld in without removing the steering column. Seems to have worked, will know for definite in the next few days. Hopefully it's suffice. Feels pretty good to drive now :o. I'm applying everywhere just now but it's tough! I need it to fund the mods so no job = no mods :(.

Plans have changed, will be selling this in January to get a GTI as i've been looking at quotes and Elephant will insure me for £1400.

Should be getting wheels soon though. I'm thinking of Rota Flashbacks?

Ideas anyone?

Yeah man flashbacks are sick...considered them myself, but i cant get over them being reps. A gold center and polished lip looks tight!!!

Flashbacks look better than the real set imho. Wound down my front coilovers a bit more the other day but it isn't going any lower. Why's that? Chassis notch or arb removal required?

My pedal box started squeaking last month but its stoped ever since i lowered it however it has become almost impossible to change gear and crunches into reverse :/

Clutch pedal lower down than brake? If so it is pedal box.

A nice set of 15" g60 steels will set this off nice :)

Hello expense then -_-

I don't think the suit silver cars.

Do it yourself mate.

Anyone know why it ain't going lower?

Not going lower could be notch needed, although you'd hear the shafts on the chassis.

Please don't get flashbacks, they look so poor compared to the rear versions. Zero's are good reps though.

I've not driven it since it has been lowered, no insurance right now - next few days. Instead of doing a chassis notch can I just remove the ARB? End of the day, it wont handle very well any way if I'm going crazy low? From pictures flashbacks looked pretty good.

Are you talking about these?:

Not a clue, i haven't looked at the ARB setup on these yet.

Yeah those wheels, they do them in silver also, a very good rep. Not to some peoples tastes, but the flashbacks just look poor quality imo.

I don't really like them alloys. Prefer Flashbacks a lot more. I will see someone with them at Edition 38.
