haha, fair play! mine have been trimmed to the highest point as it were, they were dangling down after the arches were rolled. Couldnt get my rears to bend at all, heated the fuck out the arch and the metal still wouldnt tuck :(

take the arch liners out..throw them away, you dont need them!!

also if you heated the metal you would have needed to hit it with something...and hard!!

lead hammers usually do the trick :)

Just a few random flicks I've taken/ come across over the past few days/ weeks :ninja:

Lacking in ideas on how to improve my daily beater, any suggestions :/?

I'll put it this way... went to edition and back (500 mile-ish) and done about 500 since and it hasnt budged or moved at all. you can come to your own conclusion from that :)

 springs for aesthetics, bumpstops for ride quality

I say mount flip and turret lift.

Please tell me, how is spsuension travel going to help your subframe/arch to tyre contact.....

E30 camber adjustable topmounts.

Gain like 30-40mm in lows(maybe more)...then wind up about 20-30mm and hey-presto.

suspension travel!!

obviously the turret will need to be redrilled to the e30 pcd, but thats the easy part :)

So i read, Spuey has said mods i do believe? I'll stick to bumpstops, stops the scrub  Unless you want 30mm lower? ;)

Nah spuey has solid topmounts made for the mk3 platforms.

unfortunately because the majority of polo owners dont wank dickhead low cars.

they dont make them in mk5 platforms!!... so the closest thing to one is an e30 topmount.

Depending on the ride quality its going to give me (the extra drop too) it will depend on how low i run it.

Been speaking to scott recently too (yourenotlow) and hes shared with me his subframe mods.

so that might be on the cards shortly too... his polo is no longer his daily but still like 15mm lower than me.

but not for long :ninja:;)

:lol: Ye tell me about it, were all ruining perfect handling vehicles, what we thinking!

Learn something new everyday, never realised that :-) Looking forward to this! I need subframe notch and to up my game!

Not sure if i still want to break it tbh :/

Gave it the last proper clean for a while and raised it up a touch for winter. (albeit not much)

However both locking rings are threaded now :ninja:

Bouncing around all over the place is giving me a bad back  Travel feels amazing right now!!

Oh yeah, my fogs turned up - got a right bargain on them.

Just waiting on my new light switch now...
